JACKIE WALKER is a full-time writer and editor at a professional medical association. In her spare time, she freelances for a variety of publications and maintains this site. Among the publications she freelances for is Relate Magazine, a quarterly magazine in which she writes a full-page column educating teen readers about a different religion in each issue; she also writes religion book reviews for Publishers Weekly. In the past, she has worked for a number of religion publishers including Guideposts, World Wisdom, and Relevant Media Group.

In 2005, she was awarded the Robert Walker Scholarship for Christian Journalism (Robert Walker is considered one of the founders of Christian journalism, no relation of course). Jackie holds a BA in journalism and religious studies from Indiana University, summa cum laude.
