Bio
JACKIE WALKER
is a full-time writer and editor. In her spare time, she freelances for a variety of publications and maintains this site. Currently Jackie writes for Religion News Service and the religion section of Publishers Weekly. She is the former world religions columnist for Relate (a teen girls publication, now online only). She has also worked for Guideposts publications, Relevant Media Group, and World Wisdom world religion book publishers.
In 2005, she was awarded the national Robert Walker Scholarship for Christian Journalism (Robert Walker is “the founder” of Christian journalism, no relation of course). Jackie holds a BA in journalism and religious studies from Indiana University, summa cum laude.
